RIP: Patsy Bannon

Coiste Chontae an Dúin and the family that is Down GAA are saddened to learn today of the death of Patsy Bannon of Liatroim. 

Patsy was a regular member of our Team of Gatemen for many years and gave great service to Down and to Ulster,  Sunday after Sunday and in all weathers. Patsy was a proud Club man too, working hard for his Club Liatroim, he was a man who quietly did all that was asked of him for both Club and County.

We would like to extend our sympathy to his daughter Fionnuala, sons Aidan,  Declan and Ciaran whilst we remember too his late wife Anne at this sad time. To the Gaels of Liatroim we also extend our sympathy on the loss of a proud Gael.
